Gun permits of civilians suspended for ASEAN Summit

Permits to carry firearms outside of residence (PTCFOR) for civilians are suspended from November 1 to 15, 2017.

This is part of the security measures of the Philippine National Police (PNP) for the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Summit next month.

PNP National Capital Region Director Oscar Albayalde made the annoucement during the press briefing in Malacanang.

Albayalde says, the suspension of the permits will be enforced in Metro Manila and in provinces in Central Luzon (Region 3), where activities for the ASEAN Summit will be held.

Central Luzon includes 7 provinces.

These are Aurora, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Tarlac and Zambales.
