Duterte meets Trump in Vietnam

President Rodrigo Duterte has come face to face with United States President Donald Trump for the first time.

This was at the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Dialogue being held in Vietnam, which is being attended by heads of state joining the Asia Pacific Economic (APEC) Forum.

Duterte has also held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Philippine leader was expected to thank Putin for Russia's assistance to Marawi City.

Before he left for Vietnam, Duterte had said he won't allow Trump and other heads of state to lecture him on human rights.
