New LPA seen

Weather bureau PAGASA is expecting fair weather in the coming week as the country hosts the Association of Southeast Asian Nation (ASEAN) Summit.

Forecasters are not seeing any weather disturbance that may affect the archipelago in the next two to three days.

There may just be some rains in the afternoon and evening.

PAGASA has spotted a Low Pressure Area (LPA) 875 kilometers east of Davao City.

But the possibility of the LPA developing into a storm is remote.

Tropical storm Salome has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at dawn on Saturday.
