Xander Ford

His half-a-million-peso transformation was so phenomenal it got the whole Internet talking. The video of his post-plastic surgery look, which was featured in Rated K, garnered six million views on Facebook and two million views on YouTube in less than 24 hours. That’s a massive attention, we must say. But most people didn’t know that they’re just watching an expensive advertising ploy. We know what was running on your mind when his transformation was revealed on TV. Your eyes couldn’t believe it, right? And at one point you also imagined yourself going under the knife.

Star Magic Ball

No doubt, this annual gathering of Star Magic talents is the biggest and the most important, not to mention the most outlandish, gathering in showbizlandia. The annual gala is also an interesting source of major fashion news and entertainment headlines. And this year wasn’t an exception. From the stars’ preparation to the gathering to the red carpet event, social media was flooded by everything Star Magic Ball. We were just curious though what the other stars felt when they realized that they were not invited and will never get invited in this glitzy event. For sure they wished they were Star Magic talents, too.

Dingdong Dantes

He’s very lucky to have a wife who supports him all the way. And people think he’s even more fortunate for being a Kapuso star that can work in a different network without encountering any issue. Dingdong is in the cast of Seven Sundays, a family drama produced by Star Cinema. It’s good to note that it’s already his sixth project with ABS-CBN’s film production arm. And yet, no one questions his loyalty to GMA Network.

Sharon Cuneta

The Megastar took to social media to express how upset she was for receiving a last minute invite to the annual Star Magic Ball. The 51-year-old singer and actress said she didn’t have anything spectacular to wear and didn’t have any more time to prepare, too, that’s why she had to decline. Surely, people understand where she’s coming from but what they couldn’t really comprehend was her being too distraught about the whole situation. Aren’t older people relieved whenever they don’t get invited to a gala attended mostly by millennials?

Jason Abalos

Look who has just jumped over the bakod. Jason was officially welcomed as a Kapuso on Tuesday after 13 years of being a Kapamilya. While it’s normal for talents to shift loyalty when they aren’t receiving any offers and assignments, but TV networks should also consider the value of the talents they’re signing up to be their contract stars. In Jason’s case, we don’t think he’s that worthy of an investment. Kapuso network has a talent pool of better looking and younger stars that are just waiting to be utilized. Why take someone in who will just eventually wait in the wings?

Andi Eigenmann

Has she already quit showbiz? Well, that’s according to one of her Instagram posts. Andi had been responding to a netizen, who told her she’s a snob. Probably fumed for being trolled by a stranger, who basically didn’t know anything about her life apart from the occasional scandal on and offline, she responded that she already left showbiz because she wasn’t happy and that she wanted to be a fulltime mom. People find this situation interesting though since it’s only now that she realized that her five-year-old kid needs a fulltime mom after so many years of partying.
