Maliksi signs max P10M pact with Elite

VASTLY improving Blackwater is leaning its fortunes on Allein Maliksi in the Philippine Basketball Association.

Confident enough of the swingman’s scoring prowess, the Elite signed up Maliksi to a two-year, P10 million deal to lock him up as he is set to continue being one of the vital cogs in the team.

With Maliksi re-signed, Blackwater looks forward to having high hopes in the upcoming 43rd season.

Along with Maliksi, critical chargers JP Erram, Mike DiGregorio and Mac Belo are all expected to make the Elite an intriguing team.

Blackwater is coming off its best campaign in its franchise history.

The Elite entered the post-season for the second time in the season-ending Governors’ Cup and made the most out of it, pushing eventual runner-up Meralco to the brink after almost making it to the semifinals when it forced a knockout game in the quarterfinals before bowing out.
